3 1/2 diameter overall with a crystal diameter of 1 3/4. hTere is no battery. We do not know if this works. You can set teh time with the hands using the marked knob on the back.
The felt on the back is in good condition. This felt appears ot be black or deep blue in color. Movement is marked (triangle through a disc) wellgain quartz, no (0) jewels unadjusted, mq-406. There is no alarm.Thsi is in very nice condition. Theer is no stand. This is not a mantle or shelf clock, it appears that this would sit on yuor desk or act as a paperweight. This is quite heavy for it's size at over 1 pound, not including the box. The box is in very good condition. In the bottom of the box is a bottom foam, a thin piece of white foam, a foam isnert with a circle cut out to hold the clock and the lid has a piece of foam in it as well. All 4 corners of the box bottom and lid are intact, the box overall odes not show very much, if any shelf wear.
