Vintage Dunhill Quartz Desk Clock

Dunhill quartz desk clock. I sometimes rely on the photos to tell most of the story, so please do review them closely to get a good idea of what yuo are bidding on. This clock is a recent estate find, and it seems to be made to look like a ship's clock. The box measures 4-1/2 wide and approximately 3 tall. The clock works fine (battery not included). I am not quite sure how old ti is, maybe the 1980's? Whatever the case, i am sure it wsa kind of expensive. The wood has a lacquer, polyurethane or similar finish. There is a small chip on the top edge, and you will find a couple more super tiny bites to the finish.

There is a small area of scratching near the push button, and there is a similar area on the side. With the right light and angle, you may notice that the top of the box seems a little dull or cloudy (likely from storage or something being on top, truly minor, silly to call).

The metal inside has darkening and discoloration from oxidation. The crystal appears to be plastic, and it is in great condition with no damage.

The felt bottom has soem table wear. You have to work to get the lid to latch shut. In order to do so, you have to push the button in, and apply a lot of pressure to the top of the lid. You can then push the button again to open the box, and it does so with ease.

The clock swivels inside teh case. This is a neat clock, but it's ont mint, so please help me out by reviewing the many pics below to get a good idea of what you are bidding on. You can bid with confidence, because.
